- THE "SOUND OF AMERICA" SERIES -

The "Sound of America" series features shows that are presented exclusively by the full 17-piece Capital Jazz Orchestra and its Music Director, Clayton "Skip" Poole. These concerts are the foundation of each season that AMIT Productions puts together for its audiences both locally and, when touring, nationally. As the title suggests, this series of shows are primarily focused on America's original art form- Jazz.

2020 marks the 80th anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s very first recorded hit – “Polka Dots and Moonbeams”. From there, he recorded more than 60 albums.  Vocalist CJ Poole and the Capital Jazz Orchestra salute ‘Old Blue Eyes’ by performing “Witchcraft”, “Come Fly With Me”, “Summer Wind”, “Strangers In The Night” and “New York, New York” and many other iconic Sinatra selections.
